Details: Comedy Records presents JFL Hoop Dreams, a charity basketball game showcasing comedians and comedy industry professionals with proceeds benefiting AMI-Quebec. Hosted by K Trevor Wilson, JFL Hoop Dreams will take place at Le Centre Sportif in Montreal with Team World taking on Team Canada.

Team Canada will be lead by Nick Reynoldson, who will be joined by fellow comics Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll (Kim’s Convenience), Adam Christie (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Freddy Rivas (Rapp Battlez) Spencer Mackay, Chanty Marostica, Alo Azimov, Jarrett Campbell and Morgan O’Shea. From the industry side, Team Canada will include Monique Barbieri from Live Nation and Gary Rideout Jr from Comedy Bar.

Team World will feature captain Forrest Shaw with a roster including his Podcast co-host Jim Jefferies, and fellow comedians Brian Moses, Emma Willmann, Rafi Bastos, Andrew Schulz, Brad Williams and Guy Montgomery. Industry teammates will include Michael Cox (NBC’s Jimmy Fallon), Tiffany Schloesser (Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment),  Emilio Savone (New York Comedy Club) and former collegiate baller Katie Edwards (APA).

100% of proceeds from JFL Hoop Dreams will go to AMI-Quebec, a non-profit organisation that helps families manage the effects of mental illness through support, education, guidance and advocacy.

Comedy Records is Canada’s first record label dedicated to releasing stand up and sketch comedy albums. Established in Toronto in 2010, the label is distributed through Dine Alone Records and has produced several releases, which have reached the top of the iTunes Comedy and Google Play charts and been featured on Conan  and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
