Makers Market to Raise Funds for Australia

Where: Project Spaces King West, 73 Bathurst Street, #4th floor
When: February 9, 2020 from noon to 6pm
Cost: Free Admission

Details: Toronto Crafts for Australia is hosting a maker’s market to raise funds! 100% of all proceeds will go directly to help Australian relief efforts. Buy your Valentine’s gifts, enjoy some company and have a great time supporting an amazing cause.

The space is dog-friendly and will feature some handmade items for your furry friends! Feel free to bring them along (but make sure you’re responsible for them the whole time). There will also be some fun activities for children!

Toronto Crafts for Australia is a group of makers who are making specific products to help rescue centers care for wildlife that has been affected by the fires. All proceeds will go to the Animal Rescue Collective, which directly helps rescue centers and carers with all manners of supplies, including food. They have also airdropped food to areas decimated by the fires, and will continue to do so to help animals in the wild.

Sadly, the space is not wheelchair accessible. There are three steps to get to the front door, and then there are four flights of stairs to climb. There is a freight elevator available, and we will have someone operating it in case the stairs are too much.
