Details: The 2-Spirit Cabaret is back for its 9th edition. Join Native Earth Performing Arts and Buddies to celebrate the strength, beauty and talent of queer and 2-Spirit Indigenous people.
Hosted by digital creator Kai Potts (Winkte), the celebration begins with DJ KIMIWAN spinning through a community gathering full of music and food from Dashmaawaan Bemaadzinjin, followed by a mix of music, dance, drag, burlesque and comedy. Will feature performances by drag performer Faux Rocious (Red River Métis), comedian Meg MacKay (Mi’kma’ki), multidisciplinary drag/burlesque artist Jay ‘Nickel-Black’ Northcott, storyteller Dillan Meighan-Chiblow (Ojibwe) and burlesque superstar Madame Ode’Miin Surprise (Anishinaabe Kwe).
