Celebrate Canada Day with these Patriotic Cocktails

Here are a few patriotic cocktail recipes for you to sample when toasting Canada’s 149th  birthday this weekend! Made with Canada’s favourite whisky, these cocktails ensure that we Canucks add a piece of Canadiana to our long weekend camping trips, cottage time or backyard BBQs.

 

Canadian Mule
1.5 oz. Collingwood whisky
3 oz. ginger beer
Splash of lime juice

Mix all ingredients over ice. Garnish with lime and mint.

 

 

Collingwood Sour
1.5 oz. Collingwood whisky
.75 oz. simple syrup
.75 oz. lemon juice

Mix all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, and pour into a glass fill with ice.

 

 

Tom Collingwood
2 oz. Collingwood whisky
.75 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. lemon juice
3 oz. soda water

Mix Collingwood, simple syrup and lemon juice in an highball glass with ice. Top with soda water, garnish and serve.

 

 

 

 

 

Collingwood Dry Manhattan
2 oz. Collingwood whisky
.5 oz. extra-dry vermouth
3 dashes orange bitters

Mix all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, and strain into a martini glass.
