Details: After a three year hiatus due to the pandemic, the full-stage production of The Christmas Story returns this December at the Church Of the Holy Trinity, located on the west side of the Eaton Centre.

There’s nothing that compares with The Christmas Story in live performance, fully staged, experienced as a community in the historic Church of the Holy Trinity. Tradition, community, innocence, trembling nerves, miracles and soaring choral music: this not-to-be-missed Nativity play returns as a calming antidote to a hectic season and a troubled world.  It is a beautiful reminder that this is a season of blessings and new beginnings that people can share together.

The story of the Nativity is told through a series of narrated scenes linked by beautiful organ music and carols from an unseen choir. More than 50 volunteers, including babies who take turns playing the role of baby Jesus, perform the pageant. Masks are encouraged at all public gatherings.
