Expanding his inimitable British style in the Canadian market, Simon Carter recently launched his Carnaby Street Collection at Tip Top Tailor in Yorkdale. Before making his mark in the fashion world, Simon studied in the medical field. That changed when he started designing fashion forward, yet practical and whimsical accessories such as his aspirin cufflinks, which can actually store the medication.
The Carnaby collection is filled with classic, timeless pieces, but touches such as a suit jacket with paisley lining, a check pattern shirt with a floral cuff and colours such as polka dots and lavender give a distinctive edge. His celebrity clients include Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and members of Duran Duran.
Simon says, “I wanted to bring all the kind of sensibilities of the Simon Carter brand that we are known for. So the quality of tailoring, the English look, lots of detail, lots of colour, great fabric, great quality and take it to a wider audience.”
Available @ 21 Tip Top Tailors stores across Canada. Suits will retail for approximately $499 and sportswear pieces from $89 – $125.
