Union Wines from the Niagara Peninsula

100% home grown VQA wine from the niagara peninsula, Union wines are the result of a joint partnership between winemaking legends Dr. Allan Jackson and sommelier, Andrew von Teichman. The union of their VQA experiences lead to a brand that is sophisticated but unpretentious. Their vision and passion for the future of Ontario winemaking rests in the art of blending multiple grape varieties to create consistent, reliable, award winning wines.

Launched in September of 2010, Union has become one of the top selling VQA wines at the LCBO. Today, Union proudly has five listings and three vintages releases. Here are a couple of samplings from their lineup:

Union Noir VQA 2012
Medium bodied blend – a marriage of the two famous “Noir” varieties and gamay. Serve slightly chilled.
Pairing: Serve with pork or chicken

Union White VQA 2012
A lively, floral four grape blend.
Pairing: Serve with fusion foods, seafood salads, spicy tapas and grilled chicken
