With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to turn your kitchen green! Whether you’re planning on making green pancakes, opting for a green smoothie, or cooking an authentic Irish dish, Almond Breeze offers a delicious taste with just the right hint of almond flavour, perfect for any recipe.
Here is a green-themed, Popsicle recipe great for getting in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit.
1-1/2 cups (375 mL) Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla
2 tbsp (30 mL) almond butter
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1 large handful of spinach
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. Distribute mixture evenly into molds and freeze in the freezer until frozen, at least 4 hours. Makes 4 to 6 popsicles depending on your mold.
TIP: To release popsicles, run the underside of the molds under hot water for 10 seconds.
