Details: BPAC is thrilled to host multi JUNO award-winner Holly Cole as she tours her new album HOLLY featuring classics such as They Can’t Take That Away From Me and Everybody Loves Somebody. These classics showcase her dynamic artistry while bringing currency to these timeless tracks.

Produced by Grammy Award winning producer Russ Titelman (Eric Clapton, Randy Newman, Ricki Lee Jones) and arranged by pianist extraordinaire Larry Goldings, HOLLY, was mostly recorded at Sear Sound Studio in New York City alongside an exemplary cast of both New York and Toronto based musicians. The album was recently nominated for a 2019 JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.

Holly is lauded internationally for her sensuous and original music, receiving praise as a pre-eminent interpretative singer working between the poles of jazz and pop. Her unique interpretations are applauded as being highly musical, intensely original, sophisticated, witty and sexy. In her hands, even familiar repertoire – from Hank Williams to Cole Porter – enjoys the potential to shine like never before. Holly never fails to present her music with style, humour and grace, sending it out on journeys straight to the listener’s heart. Her approach is sensual and intense, non-calculating and without any retro pretensions.
