Details: Canadian comedian Ola Dada will perform his Mr Funny Man Comedy Tour across the country with stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Edmonton this summer. Ola is a Nigerian-born comedian who touches on the absurdity of growing up in Fort McMurray, Alberta. He is known for his fun, light-hearted comedy and uses his life experience as material – being raised in Fort McMurray in a Nigerian home, living in Vancouver and the contrast in values and views on life, religion and relationships.
Ola was a semi-finalist on Canada’s Got Talent, a runner-up in the Canada-wide SiriusXM Top Comic Competition and has been featured on Crave and CTV. He has also appeared on CBC’s The New Wave of Stand Up, and at Just For Laughs in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Ola has been performing stand up for five years and has since made a name for himself in the Canadian comedy scene. He also flexes his creativity by creating sketches that have been featured on Comedy Here Often? and at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Ola released his debut comedy album Dada Plan in 2022.
