Reese Spreads – the Perfect Recipe Ingredient

Now that Reese Spreads is available in Canada, it’s time to break out your mixing bowls and start spooning that chocolate-peanut butter goodness into some delicious recipes. Here are two of our favourite recipes that will not only satisfy your own cravings but wow your guests!

Chocolate Peanut Butter and Banana Milkshake
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups milk
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup chocolate ice cream
1/3 cup Reese’s Spreads Peanut Butter Chocolate-peanut
2 Tbsp Hershey’s Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup 35% whipping cream, whipped
2 Tsp Hershey’s Semi-Sweet Chipits
2 Tbsp chopped roasted salted peanuts

Directions
In blender, combine milk, banana, ice cream, peanut butter chocolate spread and coca powder. Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 large glasses. Top with whipped cream, Chipits and peanuts.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coated Bacon with Sea Salt
Ingredients
10 slices bacon
1/4 cup Reese’s Spreads Peanut Butter Chocolate
1/4 cup melted Hershey’s 50% Dark Chocolate Chipits
1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions
In skillet, cook bacon, turning once, for about 10 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towel-line plate; let cool. Place bacon on foil-lined baking sheet or tray. Using offset spatula, spread heaping teaspoonful of peanut butter chocolate spread onto each strip of cooked bacon. Place melted chocolate in zip-top bag; snip off one corner. Drizzle over each coated bacon strip. Sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes or until chocolate has set.
